Since today, when El Toro market opens in Plaza de Europa, the municipality of Calvià has a market every day of the week. El Toro market is the seventh to be put into operation, completing the “7 days, 7 markets” initiative that allows residents and visitors to shop at traditional markets every day of the week in different areas in the municipality.

El Toro market, which has started today, is added to an offer that already includes six other markets: the Calvià village market (Mondays, on calle Mayor), the Peguera market (Tuesdays, on Bulevar de Peguera), the Magaluf market (Thursdays, in Galió street), the Son Ferrer market (Fridays, on calle Ruiseñor and calle Colom), the Santa Ponça market (Saturdays, on avenida de s'Hort) and the Palmanova-Son Caliu market (Sundays, in the Amadip car park). With the start of El Toro market, there will be an active market every day of the week in Calvià.

The weekly markets are a decisive commitment to promoting local commerce and improving accessibility to fresh and local products, both for residents and for tourists visiting the area. In addition to food products, there will be a wide variety of plants, artisanal and organic products, in order to reinforce the model of proximity and economic sustainability.

The expansion of the market offer is an example of Calvià Town Hall's commitment to promote local trade and offer alternatives for a balanced and healthy diet based on quality products. The markets become a community meeting point, which stimulate the Calvià economy and promote the well-being of residents and visitors.
